Securitas is looking for Flex Security Officer (s)

$18.00 to $20.00 an hour

Shift and days will vary. Must have a flexible schedule.

Flex Security Officer Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security experience required.
• Must be willing and able to travel and drive long distances to support various client locations.
• Experience handling a wide range of security situations and incidents in diverse environments.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and site requirements.
• Must be available to work primarily 1st and 3rd shifts.
• Open availability for weekends and holidays is required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record preferred.

Location: Multiple locations throughout South Jersey- surrounding Atlantic City, NJ.

Some locations would be in and around these towns:

• Blackwood, NJ
• Maple Shade, NJ
• Camden, NJ
• Atlantic City, NJ
• Moorestown, NJ

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Mobile patrol

Position Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver s license, and open availability is required for this position.

The Flex Security Officer provides coverage at multiple client sites and must be comfortable working in a variety of environments. Candidates must have at least two years of security experience, the ability to travel significant distances between locations, and experience responding to a wide range of security situations. Flex Officers must be available to work primarily 1st and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
