Software Integration and Test Engineer - II

As a Thunderbolt Solutions team member, you will use your creativity and innovation to perform a variety of software engineering tasks to support our Customer onsite in Moorestown, NJ.

Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems on a collaborative agile team. The candidate will engage in all activities associated with the software development lifecycle and support all process requirements and reviews as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experience
• This position requires a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
• The position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).
• 2-4 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support in an Open/Layered Architecture Environment, Operating Environments;
  Model-based tools;
  Information Assurance;
  Tools Development;
  Safety Analysis;
  Real-Time System Data Analysis;
  Problem Analysis;
  System Integration
• Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python
• Experience developing software with Agile scaled principles
• Experience with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins
• Experience working with Linux and UNIX environments
• Strong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse
• Familiar with UML syntax and its use
• Familiar with driver-based and automated test environments

• High proficiency in C++ or equivalent object-oriented computing language, Matlab, and scripting languages.
• Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.

2 to 4 years of related experience.

• Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis and signal processing.
• Functional knowledge of Radar systems, subsystems and designs with familiarity of design tools for radar modeling.
• Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
• Creating SysML model based systems engineering artifacts in Cameo or similar tool.

• Clearcase (Version Control Software)
• JIRA (Project Management Tool)
• xUnit Framework, JUnit and CPPUnit Lite
• CMMI Level 5 Life Cycle Processes and Procedures
• Assemblers

Thunderbolt Solutions offers competitive pay, paid time off (PTO) and benefits (health & 401(k)).

In accordance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, we are providing a good-faith salary range and a general description of benefits and other compensation for this role. The expected salary range for this position is $85,000–$130,000 annually. This range reflects the compensation the Company reasonably anticipates paying at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and business needs.
