Software Engineer - Early Career

Position Overview

Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking an Software Engineer - Early Career.

In this role, you will be part of a Software Engineering team and will be responsible for: designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software; applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications; ensuring software standards are met. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of radar systems, electronic warfare, Kalman filtering, signal processing, or model based systems engineering.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Position requires a government security clearance.
• Position located at a facility that requires special access.
• Academic:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with applicable coursework.
• Familiarity with data structures, operating systems, algorithms, C++, and/or Java.

• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with configuration management using Git.
• Experience working on an Agile team.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-discipline team.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and status.

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Part-time remote telework may be part of the schedule, details discussed during hiring.
