Position Overview

Lockheed Martin RMS seeks a Software Engineer - Early Career. The role involves designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software for business/mission applications. Candidates should apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to program systems.

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document software solutions.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to program systems for business/mission applications.
• Ensure software standards are met.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with applicable coursework.
• Familiarity with data structures, operating systems, algorithms, C++, and/or Java.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
• Position is located at a facility requiring special access.

• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with configuration management using Git.
• Experience working on Agile teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑discipline teams.
• Effective communication of technical issues and status.

• Requires a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

• Base salary range: $61,500 – $116,455 (subject to collective bargaining).
