The Lockheed Martin Global Sustainment Information Systems and Innovation organization is seeking an experienced software engineering professional to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise‑application solutions. Candidates will work in agile teams to take ideas from prototype to production, ensuring robust, well‑documented code and integration with existing product portfolios.

• Lead and coordinate all phases of software development, from requirements generation through testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Design, code, and integrate APIs and applications using C++, Java, JavaScript, Type Script, .NET, ABAP, and related web technologies.
• Develop prototypes, demonstrators, and proof‑of‑concepts to translate business needs into functional products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, both virtual and in‑person, to solve complex technical problems.
• Produce clear operating instructions and comprehensive documentation to support system use and maintenance.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards, ensuring all software meets internal and customer requirements.
• Assume ownership of development tasks and provide technical guidance to team members.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with C++, Java, JavaScript, Type Script, .NET, ABAP, HTML5, CSS, and compiled languages.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, and other databases.
• Experience developing APIs that interface with native code and solutions.
• Experience building applications on Windows and Linux.
• Creative, resourceful problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team‑oriented environment with virtual teams.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Working knowledge of backend data connections and endpoints.
• Experience with Dev Ops tools:
  Docker, Git (Git Lab, Git Hub), CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of large‑scale software architecture and design.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Problem‑solving mindset focused on real‑world deployment challenges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively; thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• A curious and can‑do attitude.

Annual base salary range: $88,000 - $152,490 (California, Massachusetts, New York). State‑specific ranges apply where not listed.
