Lead Software Engineer – Radar Systems

We are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our integrated team working on state‑of‑the‑art radar systems and electronic warfare technology at our Moorestown, NJ facility.

• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and program personnel.
• Participate in cross‑functional Six Sigma‑style product or process improvement meetings.
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging technologies and tools.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, and testing.
• Use RMS engineering processes and procedures while performing software engineering and verification activities.
• Collaborate with teammates across physical sites and lead junior engineers.
• Lead software development team and mentor software engineers.
• Work within all phases of verification, validation, and testing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 9 years software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Experience leading a software development team.
• Experience with formal testing, verification, and validation.
• Experience with Agile principles, CI/CD, Git, JIRA, Confluence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship required.

• Master’s degree in related field.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test) and code analysis tools.
• Linux development.
• OOD/OOA design.
• Agile process familiarity.
• Dev Ops tools and principles (Git Lab, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes).
• Threading/concurrency expertise.
• Real‑time embedded software engineering.
• Digital signal processing and radar tracking algorithms.
• Software modeling (UML) and architecture.
• Design pattern understanding.
• Code optimization.
• Automated test tools and techniques, static code analysis.
• GPU/FPGA architecture experience (e.g., CUDA).
• Experience with BOEs and proposals.

• Salary range: $110,500 – $208,344 (New Jersey).
