Software Engineer - Early Career

Overview

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer - Early Career. The role involves real-time processing software development to support our product line.

• Perform real-time processing software development.
• Work as part of an Agile team with hardware, software, subsystems, and systems engineering experts.
• Understand requirements and establish architecture/design.
• Implement sound solutions, develop unit tests, and support integration and sustainment activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science courses.
• Experience or knowledge of object-oriented C++ programming.
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with skills in common scripting languages such as bash and Python.
• U.S. citizenship required; a government security clearance is required.

• Experience with software modeling (UML) and architecture.
• Understanding and application of design patterns.
• Experience with code optimization.
• Experience with automated test tools and techniques, static code analysis, and embedded applications.
• Radar and/or digital signal processing experience.

• Position requires a government security clearance.
• Clearance level:
  Secret.
• U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.

• On-site full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Schedule:
  
  4-10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Annual base salary range for Colorado or Washington: $57,800 - $110,800. Salary is determined based on scope, experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
