Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations, including managing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:

- Process and post accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Manage intercompany payments and fund transfers to maintain financial consistency.

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Prepare and execute check runs, ACH transactions, and other payment methods.

- Review and code invoices while adhering to company guidelines.

- Maintain and update records in Quick Books Online, ensuring data integrity.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and analysis.

- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations in all financial processes.

- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

- Provide support during audits and assist in preparing necessary documentation. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable operations, preferably with 7+ years of relevant work.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Online and other financial software.

- Strong knowledge of coding invoices and account coding.

- Familiarity with ACH transactions and check run processes.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for reconciling accounts.

- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and vendors.

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
