Senior Accountant

This position is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting operations by managing month-end close activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in general accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.

This position is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting operations by managing month-end close activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in general accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process month-end balancing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly Standard Reporting Packages for management.
• Extend customer credit and process wire transfers.
• Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports for Inventory Management.
• Perform accounting responsibilities for related companies as assigned.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal and external audits.
• Assist with special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable financial regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.

• Previous accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
• Experience with multi-state sales tax is a plus.
