Role Description

This is a part‑time Virtual Instructor position with the potential to transition into a full‑time role. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online courses in electrical education, covering topics such as Power Quality, 2020 Code Updates, and NEC Workshops.

Key responsibilities include developing lesson plans, leading live virtual training sessions, assessing student progress, and providing support to ensure comprehension of course material. The Instructor will also assist students in preparing for electrical examinations and offer additional guidance as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a current North Carolina Unlimited Electrical License
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC Code Book and its practical application in the electrical field
  • Experience teaching, training, or leading workshops in electrical education
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in developing course content, lesson plans, and instructional materials
  • Ability to evaluate student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Prior experience in the electrical industry is preferred
  • Commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
