This contract role is for an In-Person and Online Spanish Instructor based in the Lake Norman area, NC. The instructor will teach Spanish to children and adults in small group classes and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

• Candidates should possess strong Spanish Teaching and general Teaching skills, with the ability to engage children and adults at various proficiency levels.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills to design structured, age-appropriate, and goal-oriented lessons.
• Candidates should possess Tutoring skills to provide individualized support and adjust instruction to meet specific learner needs.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish; native or near-native fluency preferred.
• Prior experience teaching or tutoring Spanish in classroom, small-group, or one-on-one settings.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format and an appropriate space for remote lesson preparation or online sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, Linguistics, or related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Availability for afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions as needed by learners and the academy.
