Hospital Pharmacist

Location: Mooresville, North Carolina

Start Dates: 3/23 (priority) or 4/6

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a night-shift travel assignment in an acute care hospital. The pharmacist will provide comprehensive medication management, clinical dosing oversight, IV verification, and support for multiple inpatient service lines including critical care and medical-surgical units.

• Verify medication orders in EPIC
• Provide clinical dosing recommendations (cardiac, renal, geriatric, anticoagulation, etc.)
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Review and manage high-alert medications
• Support anticoagulation and warfarin dosing
• Prepare and verify IV piggybacks, IV push medications, and compounded sterile products
• Monitor antibiotic therapy and infectious disease protocols
• Provide support for ICU, CCU, OR, OB, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units
• Maintain compliance with sterile technique and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Active North Carolina (NC) license or Compact license – must be in hand at submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travel experience required
• BLS required

• BCPS certification
• IV Certification
• Community hospital experience

• 120-bed facility
• Average daily census: 40
• Patient population:
  Neonates, Adults, Geriatrics

• Every other weekend required
• RTO must be included at submission (5–7 days max)
• 1 supervisory reference from the last year required
• Compliance documents due Friday prior to start
• Labs required within 1 week of signing
• Modules required (some non-billable)
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at lower rate
