Technical Product Manager

We are redefining sleep through innovative temperature control systems that optimize rest, recovery, and overall well-being. Our solutions combine connected hardware, IoT technology, and intuitive software to deliver personalized, app-driven experiences that improve how people sleep and feel.

As a fast-growing consumer wellness technology company, we operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and health optimization-serving a large and expanding customer base seeking better performance through improved sleep.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the development of our connected product ecosystem, spanning embedded systems, mobile applications, firmware, and cloud infrastructure.

This role sits at the intersection of hardware engineering, software development, and customer experience-owning the product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration. You will translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive, customer-centric features that drive engagement, retention, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the roadmap for a connected ecosystem (hardware + app + cloud)
  • Translate company vision into prioritized product initiatives and technical requirements
  • Partner with leadership to align product strategy with growth, revenue, and customer experience goals

Technical Product Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, mobile, and backend engineering teams
  • Own technical requirements for IoT connectivity, data flows, and device-control experiences
  • Drive decisions around architecture, integrations, and scalability of connected systems

Customer & Data-Driven Development

  • Leverage user insights, behavioral data, and experimentation to inform product decisions
  • Define KPIs (e.g., activation, retention, device engagement, feature usage)
  • Iterate on product features such as automation, scheduling, and personalized experiences

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with design, marketing, and operations to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences
  • Work with supply chain and hardware teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality
  • Coordinate product launches, including go-to-market planning and customer education

Execution & Delivery

  • Own backlog management, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Ensure timely delivery of features across hardware and software timelines
  • Manage trade-offs between performance, cost, and user experience

Qualifications

Required

  • 4-8+ years of product management experience in technical or IoT-enabled products
  • Strong understanding of connected devices, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration
  • Experience working with mobile apps, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple user experiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience in consumer electronics, health tech, or connected devices
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IoT protocols, and device telemetry
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer environments
  • Exposure to wellness, sleep science, or human performance domains

What Success Looks Like

  • Seamless integration between hardware, mobile applications, and control systems
  • Increased user engagement with automated and personalized features
  • Reduced friction in onboarding, setup, and daily use
  • Delivery of stable, scalable, and intuitive connected experiences
  • Continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and product reliability

Why Join

  • Work on cutting-edge consumer IoT products improving real human outcomes
  • High ownership and influence over product direction
  • Opportunity to build category-defining technology in a growing market
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team focused on innovation and impact
