Electrical Superintendent
North Charlotte Metro Area | Direct Hire | $38–$42/hr (DOE) + Bonuses
Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee crews on commercial and industrial projects. In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for supervising field teams, coordinating day‑to‑day operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards of quality. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys mentoring others, solving challenges in the field, taking ownership of jobsite execution, and representing a company known for its reliability and craftsmanship.
ElectricalSuperintendent Responsibilities:
- Provide overall field leadership for commercial and industrial electrical projects, driving execution from mobilization through final turnover.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and coordination drawings to ensure code compliance.
- Direct site activities, establishing daily priorities, production targets, and quality standards across active job sites.
- Oversee workforce planning, materials, equipment allocation, and other items as needed to maintain schedule and budget alignment.
- Champion a culture of safety, enforcing site protocols and proactively mitigating risk.
- Serve as the primary on‑site liaison, partnering with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and owners to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Lead field problem‑solving efforts, addressing design conflicts, sequencing challenges, and unforeseen site conditions with minimal disruption.
- Track progress and provide updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent on commercial/industrial projects.
- Experience leading $2m+ value projects.
- Strong leadership skills with an interest in training and team development.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC standards and local codes.
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with field‑based technology for scheduling and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license required.
