The Formula & Master Data Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all customer-owned formula, Bill of Materials (BOM), and batch sheet data. This newly created role is responsible for developing, standardizing, centralizing, and maintaining end-to-end processes that ensure accurate, approved, and production-ready manufacturing documentation across all Carolina Beverage Group facilities.
This position partners closely with customers, plant operations, quality, procurement, and planning teams to ensure product data integrity, regulatory compliance, and on‑time execution of new and existing products.
This position can be located at any of our three locations:
Mooresville, NC;
Fort Worth, TX; or Cold Spring, MN.

Customer & Product Data Ownership- Act as the primary customer point of contact for all BOM, formula, and batch sheet data.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key data management teams from each customer to ensure that the information provided is accurate from the customer’s ERP systems.
- Ensure that all required data is provided by the customer or process owner before set up.
- Ensure that the date for the implementation is accurate and, if it is a soft or hard change, that there is an adequate plan for production.
- Maintain expert knowledge of CBG-sourced ingredients and materials versus customer-owned materials, including ownership, responsibility, and documentation requirements.
- Attend customer meetings to review formulations, approvals, timelines, and process changes as needed.
- Own the creation, revision, and lifecycle management of batch sheets across all production sites.
- Receive and review all incoming new formulas as well as updates to existing formulas and create versioned batch sheets for each facility according to plant‑specific capabilities for production.
- Manage the implementation of the new formulas to ensure proper approval, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Standardize batch sheet formats, processes, and controls across all facilities.
- Develop and maintain a second‑check verification process requiring plant review and validation of batch sheets prior to production.
- Ensure all batch sheets and BOMs meet internal quality, food safety, and customer requirements before release.
- Develop, automate, and monitor batch sheet approval workflows for customers.
- Develop, automate, and monitor BOM approval workflows for customers.
- Track approval status and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies impacting production readiness.
- Develop and manage the Inbound New Finished Good (FG) process, including data intake, validation, and system setup.
- Maintain a strong understanding of production line capabilities, setup lead times, and sequencing requirements for new and existing products.
- Partner with operations and planning teams to ensure accurate timelines for product launches and production runs.
- Manage SAP portal requests related to BOMs, formulas, batch sheets, and product setup.
- Address urgent SAP requests impacting production or customer commitments.
- Ensure system data accuracy and alignment with approved documentation.
- Work with operations to establish and enforce (as possible) CBG standards as related to coding, labeling, pallet patterns, shrink and stretch utilization, etc.
- Write, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to product data management, approvals, and batch sheet controls.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Design and maintain metrics/KPI’s to track performance and progress.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as needed.
