Job Summary:

As a Production Planning Specialist at our dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Analyze production capacity and resource allocation to optimize efficiency across all manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
• Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production outputs, and supply chain performance metrics.
• Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to communicate production status and address challenges.
• Utilize ERP systems effectively for planning purposes while suggesting improvements where applicable.
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management within the CPG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
• Proficient in using ERP systems; experience with [specific software] is a plus!
