Position: Forklift Operator - C Shift (Nights)

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)

Summary

This position is responsible for the safe shipping and receiving of all raw materials and finished goods that are received.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Safely operate equipment as stipulated by company GMPs and safety protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and controlling the FEFO/FIFO inventory system to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to the various departments of the company as requested.
  • Model loads and paperwork handling best practices.
  • Train/mentor new hires as assigned by supervisors.
  • Ensure production has the correct packaging for the day.
  • Keep an accurate count of finished product.
  • Verify that product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
  • Submit daily counts to the office at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other personnel.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor or customer.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and food safety standards.
What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse/forklift experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems.
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations.
Job Setting

This role is based in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions, including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in the products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules, or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • This position requires operating a sit‑down forklift for the entire shift.
  • Periodic standing on hard surfaces.
  • Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands to finger, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Work in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors.
  • Frequently exposed to working near mechanical parts and exposed to vibration.
