CNC Machining Setup Technician

As the go-to CNC expert on our overnight crew, you’ll set up machines with confidence, run precise production, fine-tune programs, and keep quality tight. You’ll be the teammate others look to for answers, coaching junior operators while driving safer, leaner, and more consistent results.

3rd Shift, 9:45 PM–6:00 AMPay: $21–$24 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Employment Type:

Full-time / Hourly How You’ll Make an Impact Independently set up and run CNC and related mechanical equipment to achieve safe, reliable throughput.

Diagnose issues, adjust offsets, and make programming changes to improve cycle time, repeatability, and quality.

Translate blueprints, specs, and work instructions into dependable, accurate parts.

Verify dimensions and tolerances using appropriate gages and instruments; document results.

Accurately complete production and quality records.

Keep your cell and surrounding area audit-ready using 5S principles.

Honor all safety, environmental, and quality policies every shift.

Champion continuous improvement and lend a hand mentoring less-experienced operators.

What You’ll Bring 2–5 years in a closely related CNC role.

Self-directed work style with minimal supervision.

Strength in root-cause troubleshooting and resolving complex machine or process concerns.

Deep, working knowledge of CNC operations and the tasks lity to interpret work instructions and follow verbal and written guidance.

Solid math, communication, and documentation skills.

Proficient use of required gaging with accurate application.

Your Work Environment Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Stand for long periods with frequent bending and stooping.

Fine motor dexterity to manage small components.

Operate within a busy, noisy manufacturing setting.
