Registered Nurse IR - Mooresville, North Carolina

A registered nurse with expertise in interventional radiology is sought to provide comprehensive patient care at a medical facility in Mooresville, NC. This contract opportunity involves supporting adult patients and pediatric populations throughout pre- and post-procedure stages in various imaging modalities including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology. The role includes close monitoring during radiology services and stress testing to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure care for inpatient and outpatient individuals undergoing radiology and stress testing services
• Monitor patients intra-procedure across imaging modalities such as CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology
• Provide specialized care for infants and children receiving MRIs with anesthesia
• Participate in weekend rotation every fifth week and manage on-call responsibilities for weeknights and weekends as scheduled
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient care and safety

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Interventional Radiology nursing preferred
• Ability to monitor and care for adult and pediatric patients during imaging procedures
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Comfortable working 10-hour shifts, four days per week )

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation every 5th week
• Weeknight on-call (5:30 PM to 7:00 AM) up to one night per week
• Weekend on-call (5:30 PM to 7:00 AM) up to one weekend every 5th week
