This contract role in Mooresville, NC offers an opportunity for experienced RNs specialized in Interventional Radiology to contribute to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment within a level I trauma teaching hospital. The department handles 50-60 patients daily, encompassing both adults and pediatrics from multiple acute care settings, supporting a broad range of radiology procedures and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care in the Interventional Radiology department
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team including lead techs, supervisors, and imaging managers
• Use clinical judgment to manage patient care in work-up and recovery phases
• Maintain compliance with protocols and assist in smooth department operations

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Confidence working in a high patient acuity, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude toward teamwork
• Experience with EPIC EMR and point-of-care devices preferred

Scheduling and Work Environment:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday )
• No weekend rotation required; holiday coverage expected with advance approval
• Call responsibilities shared fairly among staff
• Contract duration: 13 weeks, with consistent shift assignments
• No floating to other units
