Growing Nonsurgical Spine & Sports Medicine Practice | Laken Norman, Mooresville, NC
We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing nonsurgical spine and sports medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider who enjoys musculoskeletal medicine, patient interaction, and office-based procedures.
The ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Experience treating spine, orthopedic, and/or sports medicine patients
- Comfortable with musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment
- Experience or interest in joint and soft-tissue injections
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Team-oriented and interested in building a long-term role within a growing practice
Primary responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and managing patients with spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Assisting with patient flow and clinical management
- Performing joint and soft-tissue injections
- Patient education and development of treatment plans
- Working closely with the physician and clinical team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:EDUCATION:
BA/BS, MS preferred. Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program or approved nurse practitioner program.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum of one-year experience as physician assistant, preferably in clinic setting.
Or minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience.
REQUIREMENTS:Maintain valid PA license for the state of North Carolina, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. CPR certification as required.
Or maintains valid RN license for state of North Carolina.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:WORKING CONDITIONS:
Medical office and exam room settings. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to clinic. Frequent contact with variety of people.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting. Requires ability to help transfer patient. Occasional stress from dealing with multiple tasks and tense patients. Requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
