A Day in This Role Your morning starts at 5:45 AM on our Mooresville, North Carolina 28115 campus. The first order of business: a first-piece inspection to validate the line’s setup. You’ll verify dimensions and function against work instructions and specifications, using gages and measurement tools to confirm everything is in tolerance. As production runs, you move between in-process and final checkpoints—performing visual, mechanical, and functional tests—and documenting accurate, traceable results.

Throughout the shift, you analyze inspection data, flag trends, and collaborate with operations to address nonconformances. You’ll help refine checklists and procedures, contribute to internal audits, and

• Inspect in-process and finished goods to confirm compliance with work instructions, specifications, and quality standards
• Execute first-piece/first-article inspections to validate line setup and initial quality
• Perform visual, mechanical, and functional testing using appropriate tools and gaging instruments
• Record detailed inspection results and statistical data; input findings into the QMS
• Assist in building reports that track production quality and performance trends
• Summarize findings and document deviations from standards with precision
• Help develop, write, and update inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists
• Analyze data to identify root causes; partner with cross-functional teams on corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability

Pay Range: $19.00- $22 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

• Comfort working under minimal supervision
