CNC Process Inspector

Roush Yates is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Process Inspector to ensure parts and processes meet documented requirements throughout production. You'll work closely with machinists, supervisors, and Quality personnel to identify issues early, maintain traceability, and help keep production safe and accurate.

• Perform in-process inspections using drawings, revisions, routers, control plans, inspection frequencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Read basic blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, datums, surface finishes, and notes.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, bore gages, pin gages, and other inspection equipment.
• Maintain product identification and traceability and prevent mixing of accepted, rejected, and uninspected product.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions, tooling issues, unusual machine conditions, or documentation conflicts; stop and elevate work according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and positive communication across departments.
• Complete required training and other assigned duties.

• High school diploma or GED required.
  • CNC/manufacturing education beyond high school preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Blueprint reading and math skills.
• Automated CNC setup experience preferred.
• Understanding of product traceability and nonconforming-material controls.
• Clear written documentation and effective communication skills.

• Able to stand for extended periods while regularly lifting/moving up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety and PPE requirements.
• Meet minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows:
  Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8.
• ITAR compliance requires the individual to be a 'U.S. person' (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
