PositionAs a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in MOORESVILLE, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will observe, document, and communicate findings, assist with access control and alarm response, and deliver customer service with clear, professional interaction.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

- Mon: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
- Tue: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
- Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verify authorization, direct visitors and deliveries, and maintain required logs and reports.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, support investigations with observations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
