As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in MOORESVILLE, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns as needed.

You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver helpful customer service. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing individuals to approved check-in procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
