Travel Consultant

We are looking for a travel consultant with great enthusiasm for traveling. You will be responsible for promoting and managing travel arrangements for employees of a company. The role involves negotiation with travel vendors, ensuring compliance with corporate travel policies, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences.

• Plan, book, and manage travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and other transportation for employees.
• Ensure travel arrangements align with company policies and budget constraints.
• Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to secure the best rates and services for the company.
• Maintain relationships with travel vendors to stay informed about special offers and promotions.
• Ensure that all travel arrangements comply with corporate travel policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to employees on travel policies, including allowable expenses and required documentation.
• Provide assistance to employees with travel-related issues, such as cancellations, changes, and emergencies.
• Offer recommendations and solutions to ensure a seamless travel experience.
• Prepare and manage travel documentation, including itineraries, tickets, and travel insurance.
• Maintain accurate records of travel bookings and expenses.

• Proven working experience in customer service
• Ability to learn new software usage
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
• Demonstrable ability to handle crises
• Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Travel arrangement experience preferred.
• Requires attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivator, who achieves results autonomously or via teamwork
• Proficient in Microsoft products:
  Word, Excel, Outlook
• Proficient in the use of internet and web-based technologies
• Understand our company values, goals and objectives.
• Positive can-do attitude, driven, reliable, trustworthy, detailed-oriented
• Ability to work Monday - Thursday from 8 - 5 and Friday from 8 - 1.

2 years customer service experience is preferred.
