** Salary Range:**$24,800.00 - $52,800.00
** Assignment Credits & Per Credit Salary Range:
** Coaches are considered temporary part-time faculty and pay is determined by the number of assignment credits. The Head Softball Coach position is 9 credits.  The per credit salary rate is $1,435.56 up to $2,396.43.

Initial per credit salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience in accordance with the faculty contract.

** Position Overview
** Minnesota State Community and Technical College is accepting applications for a
** Head Softball Coach
** to begin fall semester 2026.
** This position is located on the Fergus Falls campus.
**** Responsibilities:
** Activities related to comprehensive community college teaching and learning, including but not limited to:
* Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students’ athletic eligibility, and other related duties.
* Monitor softball budget, fundraise as appropriate, and maintain spending practices in alignment with NJCAA rules.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Softball coaching experience;
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Demonstrate the ability to recruit and coach;
* Ability and commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCCC and NCAA Division III.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Assistant or Head coaching (softball) experience at the collegiate level.
* Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
