Job DescriptionPosition – Special Education Teacher – DCD
Location – Horizon Middle School East Campus
Grades – 7-8
The Licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.
- Identifies and prioritizes areas of the general education curriculum & accommodations for students needing specialized instruction.
- Administers assessment to support instruction.
- Follows due process requirements.
Education and Experience: Current Minnesota teaching license required in Special Education in the assigned area of responsibility and/or the ability to obtain.
