This position is typically assigned to a district elementary building and is responsible for providing building personnel assistance in the use of technology; providing Tier I technical support in the use of applications and software within the building; configuring and installing computing devices, performing hardware repairs and software upgrades; solving printer and device connectivity issues; monitoring staff and student accounts; and troubleshooting software applications for grade levels and departments.

• Maintain and monitor client workstations
• Maintain and support building level equipment
• Maintain and monitor servers for building staff
• Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity
• Provide customer service and support
• Provide support to computerized testing
• Maintain Inventory
• Provide support for building technology staff and other district personnel.

• Up to one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in computer science; and/or any satisfactory combination of education/experience training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license

• A minimum of two years of experience providing technical support of computing workstations, printers and/or other AV equipment.

• Associate degree preferred.
