Join Our Team as a 2nd Shift Production Worker

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:30 am and no Friday's or weekends!

Pay: $18.00 - $19.93 per hour + $2.00 shift differential for all hours worked

Are you ready to bring your skills to the forefront of our production process? D&M Industries is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Production Worker to join our dynamic team in Moorhead, MN. As a vital member of our production team, you'll play a key role in machining and assembling entire products, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in every task.

What

You'll Do:
  • Assemble interior doors by following detailed work order specifications, utilizing appropriate tools, materials, and components.
  • Operate and maintain the machinery used in the door manufacturing process.
  • Thoroughly inspect materials and components at each assembly stage to ensure they meet quality standards, and communicate any quality issues to your supervisor.
  • Manage and organize materials and components necessary for door production, and notify your supervisor when additional supplies are needed.
  • Rotate through the various stages of the assembly line to ensure an efficient production flow.
  • Package and scan finished doors, preparing them for shipment.
  • Clean work areas, break room, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and tidying up.
  • Follow all established safety rules and regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly line role, preferably in the construction of doors or similar products.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that arise during assembly.
  • Attention to detail for inspecting materials and finished doors.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  • Adaptability to handle different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as measuring tapes, staplers, nailers, drills, as well as machinery related to door manufacturing.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs., and occasionally team lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Using hands and arms to operate machinery, handle tools, and perform assembly tasks.
  • Performing close vision, peripheral vision, and color vision tasks to inspect materials and components for quality.
