Job Overview
Eventide on Eighth Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – PRN (As Needed). The role requires working 12‑hour day shifts (6:30 a.m.–7 p.m.) or night shifts (6:30 p.m.–7 a.m.) as needed. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours each month and must be scheduled for two weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) each month.
CompensationCompetitive pay:
- RN: $36 – $40.32 per hour
- LPN: $29 – $32.48 per hour

Qualifications- Active MN RN license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- LPN license acceptable for LPN role.
- Experience in long‑term care preferred but not required.
- PRN availability as described above.
- Assess residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Provide direct nursing care and support to maintain residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
- Follow and update residents’ plans of care, including interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and C.N.A/NA‑R care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor for effectiveness.
- Document accurately in electronic medical records per nursing policies and standards.
- Assist with orientation and training of new team members.
- Report resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and correct staffing deficiencies.
- Supervise subordinate staff, participate in disciplinary processes, and ensure tasks are completed accurately within scheduled shifts.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families.
- Communicate resident needs to care staff and collaborate with physicians and other health care facilities.
- Continuously update nursing skills through in‑services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
- Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences and communicate effectively with families.
- Report incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violations of resident rights promptly.
- Manage electronic timecards daily.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the team philosophy and quality resident care.
