Overview

Eventide on Eighth Care Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – PRN (As Needed) to work as needed. 12-hour Day Shift (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) or Night Shift (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) are available. Minimum 24 hours per month, required to work two weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) every month.

$5 an hour overnight shift differential and $2 an hour weekend shift differential added to base wage!

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and Eventide's policies and procedures.
  • Assess residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
  • Provide individual attention, encouraging each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
  • Observe and follow residents’ plans of care; update and make appropriate changes as necessary.
  • Administer medications and treatments and monitor effectiveness.
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary and per established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Comply with rules and regulations set by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  • Document accurately in the electronic medical records per nursing policies and procedures.
  • Assist in orientation and training of new team members.
  • Report resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and correct inadequate staffing appropriately.
  • Monitor the activities and functions of subordinate staff, including participation in the disciplinary process.
  • Ensure subordinate staff complete responsibilities thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts, following resident care policies.
  • Provide information, education, and support to assigned residents and their families.
  • Communicate residents’ needs to care staff as appropriate.
  • Interact with physicians and other health care facilities as needed.
  • Continuously update nursing skills and knowledge through in‑services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
  • Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences and communicate information effectively to families.
  • Promptly report incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
  • Manage electronic timecards daily.
  • Assist or perform additional tasks as required by Eventide’s commitment to quality resident care.
Compensation

Competitive pay range of $36.00 – $40.32 per hour for RN and $29.00 – $32.48 per hour for LPN, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for selected positions based on employment status and shift worked.

Qualifications
  • Valid MN RN license or ability to obtain within a reasonable time if employed.
  • Experience in Long‑Term Care preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to resident care and compliance with regulations.
Education & Experience

Current RN or LPN license. Experience in long‑term care a plus.

Licenses & Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Minnesota.
