Description
Eventide on Eighth Care Center is currently seeking an RN/LPN to work part‑time NOC shifts. The shift is a 12‑hour day shift (6:30 pm – 7:00 am) with every third holiday rotation. This assignment is a temporary position for the next 12‑15 weeks.
BenefitsEventide will reimburse the fee to acquire a border state license upon hire for ND nurses. Shift differentials are $5 per hour for NOC shifts and $2 per hour for weekend shifts. Ideal Candidate- Must have an active MN LPN or RN license or be able to obtain the license upon hire.
- Experience in long‑term care preferred, but not required.
Job Duties
- LPN/RN assess residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Provide individual attention, encouraging each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
- Observe and follow residents’ plans of care; update and make appropriate changes whenever necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor their effectiveness.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents when necessary and according to established nursing policies and procedures.
- Comply with rules and regulations set forth by Minnesota or North Dakota Departments of Health and CMS.
- Provide accurate documentation in the residents’ electronic medical records.
- Assist in orientation/training of new team members.
- Report resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and correct inadequate staffing appropriately.
- Monitor the activities and functions of subordinate staff, including participation in the disciplinary process.
- Ensure that subordinate staff completes responsibilities thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts.
- Provide information, education, and support for assigned residents and their families.
- Communicate resident needs to resident‑care staff as appropriate.
- Interact with physicians and other health‑care facilities as needed.
- Continuously update nursing skills and knowledge by attending in‑services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
- Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences, communicating information effectively to families.
- Promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
- Accountable for managing electronic timecards daily.
- May be required to assist with additional tasks in accordance with Eventide’s commitment to quality resident care.
Estimated pay range: $36–$40.32 per hour for RN and $29–$32.48 per hour for LPN, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
