Universal Worker- Part-Time PM Shift Eventide Linden

Eventide Linden Senior Living is currently seeking a Part‑Time Universal Worker to work the PM shift (2:00p-10:30p). The position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

• Assist tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
• Observe and/or assist with medications that may have been ordinarily self‑administered; may give oral and trans‑dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under nurse direction.
• Read and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
• Perform blood sugar testing and document results.
• Provide tenants with emotional and cognitive support.
• Socialize with tenants, listen, converse, and participate in appropriate activities—reading mail, writing letters, etc.
• Give guidance, redirection, and re‑orientation to tenants as needed.
• Develop rapport with tenants and families to understand their needs and interests.
• Document in tenant records promptly and as instructed.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s care plan.
• Recognize and report significant changes in the tenant’s health, behavior, or general appearance to the nurse.
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognize emergencies and carry out emergency procedures according to policy.
• Report any occurrences of physical or mental abuse or potential vulnerability to a supervisor.
• Review communication notes at the start of each shift.
• Clean apartments, service areas, and common areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold personal clothing and linens.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with serving meals in the dining room.
• Perform pet care per policy.

• Must have a current MN CNA license or be able to obtain it upon hire.

Estimated pay: $18–$20.16 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
