Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA - Part Time - Overnight; NOC Shift. Eventide Eighth

Position Overview

Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN is hiring part‑time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for overnight shifts (10:30 pm‑7 am). The role includes an alternating weekend and holiday rotation, totaling 24 hours per pay period, with a set two‑week schedule.

• Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

• CNA’s provide individualized care, supporting residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
• Carry and follow each resident’s care plan at all times.
• Attend to residents’ needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range‑of‑motion exercises as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity for each resident during services.
• Interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
• Follow safety policies and procedures for residents, colleagues, property, and oneself.
• Comply with rules and regulations set by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
• Understand residents’ rights, including freedom from restraints, abuse, and neglect; promptly report any incidents.
• Help maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Respond immediately to residents’ call lights and alarms.
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, weighing residents, and applying lotions.
• Support safe lifting, moving, and transporting residents using gait belts, one‑person or two‑person transfers, Hoyer lifts, or standing lifts per the care plan.
• Assist and escort residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection‑control procedures, including hand washing, glove use, and disposal of soiled materials.
• Assist with residents’ personal laundry as required.

Annualized hourly compensation ranges from $22 to $24.64, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for selected positions and shifts.
