As a full‑time Sales Consultant, you will drive market share in the Red River Valley by cultivating new and existing customer relationships and guiding prospects through the entire construction process, from pre‑sale to project completion.
Responsibilities- Focus 70% on pre‑sale activities: prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, solution development, and guiding customers through early buying stages.
- Allocate 30% to post‑sale project management: coordinate project details, communicate with internal teams, support the build through completion, and maintain a seamless customer experience.
- Integrate technology into daily tasks, maintain an accurate sales pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and adapt to evolving construction industry needs.
- Preferred: 2 years of sales or account management experience or 5 years of construction management experience.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an organized sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Minimal overnight travel beyond the initial training and onboarding period.
- Ability to develop and maintain a sales funnel that meets or exceeds established sales budgets.
- Ability to grow existing market share and be available during construction-related work hours.
- Co‑ordinate all individuals involved in building projects, manage subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements.
- Maintain customer confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Must reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire.
Start annual pay range of $65,000 to $85,000, including a base salary, training subsidy, and commission. Earnings expand year over year as consultants build experience, grow portfolios, and benefit from annual increases.
