Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Laser Screed Operator to join our crew. This role is critical for achieving superior flatness and levelness on large-scale concrete pours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate our Ligchine or equivalent laser screed equipment for concrete placement.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain laser screed equipment and related tools consistently.
- Ensure accurate grade and elevation per project specifications.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Collaborate with foremen and crew to maintain workflow and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years' operating laser screed equipment (Ligchine preferred). - Strong understanding of concrete finishing and flatwork processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grade specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
