About The PositionWe are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Sprinkler Technician to join our team in a full-time, year-round position.
During the warmer months, this position will focus primarily on irrigation/sprinkler system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
. During the winter months, the position will transition to snow removal and winter maintenance
.
This is a salary position with 40 hours per week guaranteed
, along with the opportunity to earn overtime when additional hours are needed.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sprinkler/irrigation systems
- Diagnose sprinkler system problems and make necessary repairs
- Perform seasonal system start-ups and winterizations
- Repair sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, wiring, and controllers
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Operate snow removal equipment
- Perform snow and ice removal for residential and/or commercial properties
- Shovel, plow, blow, and salt/sand as needed
- Respond to winter weather events and changing conditions
- Perform general winter property maintenance
- Experience with sprinkler/irrigation systems preferred
- Previous landscaping, irrigation, or maintenance experience is a plus
- Experience operating snow removal equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
