The primary responsibility of this position is to perform maintenance and repair of plumbing systems across campus and ensure they are kept in an operable and reliable condition at all times
What You'll Do- Campus water mains
- Campus sewer mains
- Faucets, valves, shower heads, mixing valves, etc.
- Hot, tempered and cold water systems
- Water heaters and water softeners
- Water closets, urinals, lavatories, bathtubs, and other fixtures
- All drains, traps, waste and vent lines
- Sump pumps, roof drain systems and campus surface water drainage systems
- Installation and repair of all piping systems related to plumbing
- Make recommendations for needed repairs, replacements, or new systems
- Provide care and security of all tools and plumbing equipment assigned to this trade
- Assist Welder infabrication and repairs of various equipment on campus
- Assist Kitchentech in repairs and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Maintainavailability for call back to perform emergency or critical repairs. This "on call" schedule will require oncall duty approximately three to four times a year. When designated "on call" must be able to report to campus within 30 minutes of receiving call.
