Student Worker - Moorpark College

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Student workers perform a variety of routine student services work in support of a college or district program or office.

Duties will be determined based on the needs of the position.

This application pool will be used for assignments at Moorpark College during the  academic year.

The Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) is a public community college district serving residents throughout Ventura County. • Candidate must be currently enrolled as a full‑time student (12 units or more) during the fall or spring semesters.
• Candidate may be eligible for student employment when enrolled in less than 12 units if they participate in a Federal Work Study, Cal Works, or Disabled Student Program and Service (DSP&S) program.
• Positions that include operating a motor vehicle require a clear California Department of Motor Vehicles record, a valid California driver’s license, and are restricted to those 18 years of age and older.
• Positions that include operating motorized equipment (e.g., maintenance, cafeteria) are restricted to those 18 years of age and older.

Students will need to provide evidence that they are eligible for employment should they be selected for a position. The required documentation can be found on the third page of USCIS Form I‑9. Students should be prepared to provide the appropriate documentation on or before the first day of work.

Classified seasonal employees of the district must have a 6‑week break in service before they are eligible for student employment.
