Aero Vironment in Moorpark, CA, seeks a senior mechanical engineer to lead the structural and thermal analysis of space and airborne hardware. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to design, analyze, and test packaging and opto-mechanical mechanisms such as gimbals and steering mirrors.
The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 12+ years in space hardware, proficiency with CAD (Solid Works), FEA, GD&T, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.
