Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a VP, Finance & Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $175,000 to $200,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
- Oversee investment strategies and capital allocation.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Streamline financial operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, or accounting. Master's degree is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in as an operational Vice President of Accounting and Finance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, and US (GAAP).
- Advanced working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
