The Operator is responsible for plant production operations, maintenance and repair of all plant fixed equipment.

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies
• Examine and diagnose operational problems and repair according to accepted methods
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices
• Perform related duties such as maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• Minimum 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime, and weekends

• Read, write, and speak English
• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Wear protective equipment while at the location

• Walk, sit, lift, push, pull, turn, and climb to a significant degree; manipulate controls
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently or 70 pounds occasionally
• Talk and hear regularly for communication and safety around heavy equipment
• Perform all job functions including pushing, turning, and pulling controls

Expected base compensation ranges from $27.17 to $40.77 per hour, depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skill sets, experience, and education.
