Material Handler​/Packer

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.

Ensign Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company seeks to fill the position of Material Handler/Packer at its Moorpark, California facility.

• Work assignment areas may include but are not limited to:
  Machine Shop or other departments as determined by business demands.
• Move and organize raw material and transport of materials.
• Stage Jobs for machines
• Order tools
• Installation of Helicoils or other secondary machine shop operations as needed.
• Minor deburr of precision machined parts.
• Cleaning and organizing all shop areas (5S).
• Packaging parts for shipping as needed.
• May be asked to monitor CNC machines for limited periods.
• Other duties as assigned by machine shop leadership.

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Must be able to stand for most of shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Must be able to meet all ITAR and BATFE background requirements.

Hourly Range: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
