Quality Technician

Quantum Systems Inc. is a global leader in aerial intelligence and autonomous, AI‑powered aerial robotics. We design, develop, manufacture and deliver eVTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems UAS and an ecosystem of related products and services. Our business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. We currently have an opening for a Quality Technician. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager.

Quality Technician is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and audits to ensure that products and processes meet internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in supporting the quality assurance team by identifying and addressing quality issues, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform measurements and functional tests using calibrated equipment to verify product quality.
• Accurately document inspection results, non-conformities, and deviations in accordance with company procedures.
• Support root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Maintain and update quality control records, inspection logs, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to reinforce adherence to quality procedures and best practices.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing support as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the quality control lab and inspection areas.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical or related field is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, and measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Must be able to document and report all identified non-conformances accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team‑oriented environment.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards and Lean/Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
• Occasional travel may be required within the Continental U.S. and internationally.

• Ability to accurately record and manage inspection data, reports, and other documentation.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
