Job Title:
Electronics Quality Inspector
Location: Moorpark, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25–$30 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities within an electronics manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), verifying product quality throughout production, and ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform first article inspections and document inspection results
- Conduct incoming material inspections and verify compliance with specifications
- Perform in-process and final inspections of printed circuit board assemblies
- Inspect products for workmanship, accuracy, and quality requirements
- Verify calibration and certification status of test and inspection equipment
- Track, document, and report nonconforming materials and rejected products
- Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives throughout production
- Previous electronics inspection or quality inspection experience preferred
- Knowledge of quality systems and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 standards preferred
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Good visual acuity and ability to perform detailed inspections
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the shift
