• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, and validate rotation.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with store and product information.
• Assist customers in loading purchases to vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

• Read and write English, interact with customers and coworkers.
• Comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed written or spoken instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
