Role Description The Sales Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Moorpark, CA. This position focuses on supporting customers with insurance quotes, policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions, while ensuring a positive and professional client experience. The role includes identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate Farmers products, and following up on leads generated from marketing efforts and referrals. The Sales Service Representative will maintain accurate records in agency systems, assist with renewals, and help resolve service issues in a timely manner.

Collaboration with the agency team on sales campaigns, community outreach, and retention strategies is also an important part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications

• Ability to provide high-quality customer service, build trust with clients, and communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong sales mindset, including comfort with outbound calls, handling objections, and recommending insurance solutions aligned with client needs.
• Organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and use agency software and CRM tools effectively.
• Basic math and analytical skills to review quotes, explain coverage options, and support customers in understanding pricing and policy details.
• Ability to work on-site in Moorpark, CA, collaborate with team members, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and goal-oriented workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or prior experience in insurance, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain applicable state insurance licenses (training and support may be provided).
• Comfort with learning new systems, adapting to process changes, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.
