Paraeducator TK - Substitute

The Transitional Assistance Department Employment Services Program is recruiting for Employment Services Manager who supervises, through subordinate supervisors, district offices engaged in conducting the delivery of employment training and related participant services for the County's CalWORKS program.

Travel throughout the County is required. Incumbents will be required to make provisions for transportation. A valid California driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced at the time of hire for the individual providing the transportation.

Thirty semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in public/business administration, behavioral/social science or education. Completion of the Management Leadership Academy (MLA) program in the County of San Bernardino will be accepted toward the required coursework on the basis of 4 quarter units of credit per MLA tract completed. A list of related coursework must be submitted with the application unless candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree or higher in a qualifying field of study as described above.

Four years within the last five years in a California Department of Social Services determining eligibility or providing services in a transitional assistance program (CalWORKS, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal, Child Care, Foster Care or Employment Services) which included at least two years of full-scope supervision of such functions. There will be a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on a review of the County Application and Supplemental Questionnaire for Employment Services Manager.
