Warehouse Associate Needed in Moorpark, CA — Temp-Hire

Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
Pay Range: $22 - $24/hour

Qualifications:

• High school or GED diploma
• Experience with Inventory Cycle Counts
• UPS / Fed Ex Shipping knowledge
• Ability to move/lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Fluent in English
• 1-2 years experience working in a warehouse or handling inventory
• MS Office Suite and Excel skills

General Description

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fill customer’s purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure orders and shipping tickets are close to 99% accuracy
• Update warehouse map based on SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures) with computer tools
• Perform inventory checks and cycle count daily, and investigate discrepancies
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the Warehouse work area
• Rework products for customers as needed
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by Manager

Competencies:

• Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to learn and work with the warehouse computer system and ERP software
• Detail oriented to ensure orders and shipping tickets are close to 99% accurate
• Ability to work and focus in a fast-paced working environment and complete assigned tasks
• Able to stay organized and keep work area clean and tidy
• Team player
• Self-starter and self-motivated
